Congratulations on your purchase of EVERKOM MGD-100 mobile phone. You are now on your way to using a new and exciting tool. The phone described in this guide is approved for use in the GSM network. Before you use your phone, read this guide. It provides you with a lot of useful information about your phone and the way that it operates on the network. The GSM network system is a world standard which allows you to make and receive calls to and from other countries (called Roaming) as if you were in your home country. However before you can take advantage of any of the many features offered by the networks, you must subscribe to the service you require, you can then activate many of the features described in this guide. For a full list and explanation of the network features, please consult with your Service Provider.

Ensure that the phone is switched on and in service.
Enter the emergency number (112 or another official emergency number) and press the SEND key. Give your location. Do not end the call until given permission to do so. End the call by pressing END/POWER key.

Your phone is the product of advanced engineering design and craftsmanship and should be treated with care.

1. Do not expose the phone to any extreme environment where the temperature or humidity is high.
2. Do not attempt to disassemble the phone. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
3. Do not abuse your phone by dropping, knocking or violent shaking.
4. Do not place the phone beside magnetic media such as computer discs, credit cards.

7. When you disconnect the power cord of any accessory, grasp and pull the connector, not the cord.

Joystick key

Navigates in menus, lists, choice screens and into edited texts. In idle mode, allows you to access WAP service by pressing upward, menu mode by downward, menu function by leftward and agenda function by rightward quickly.
可以操纵菜单、列表、屏幕选项和进入编辑文本。空闲模式下，快速向上按进入WAP服务，向下按进入菜单模式，向左按进入菜单功能，向右按进入记事本功能。
NUMBER keys

The 0 - 9, * and # keys are used to dial as well as entering security codes, phone numbers, and, with their alphabetical extension, names and short messages. They are also used to select an item in menus (0 stands for menu item 10, * for menu item 11 and # for menu item 12). A long press on the 1 - 9 keys launches a quick dialing call. A long press on the * key when idle mode changes alert mode from melody and to vibration mode and from vibration to melody mode. Press and hold # key when idle to lock the keypad. In keypad locked mode, press LEFT soft key and press # key.
